Federal Winners Connection in the second game two hours later
Football fans are expected to converge in their numbers on the traditional venue for the mining town’s year-end football where the excitement has always been fantastic
Upsets are not ruled out during this time of the year when all teams are primed to perform in front of their endearing fans which makes this championship extra special.
Milerock should prevail as well as Winners Connection but no one is underrating the underdogs in both Eagles and Blueberry Hill, for they bring a large following which can inspire them.
Milerock, loaded with some of the town’s most talented youths, are also complemented by their strike line led by Clarence ‘Shark’ Huggins in tandem with Kester Randolph.
Eagles, on the other hand, expect much from their midfield of Kevin Dave and their defence marshalled by Seon Barrett (Jr) to put a brake on the roving Milerock side.
In their league game, Winners Connection edged their opponents 1-0 and are hoping that veteran forward Rawle ‘Boney’ Giittens can see them through this opening game as they look to move towards a possible third championship going into the quarter-finals.

However, Blueberry Hill are looking to create the upset and among their emerging talents are striker Levi Fraser and right winger Devon Caesar.
