WENDEL Sedro carted off both the Heavyweight Class and the Mr. Flex Night title when the Flex Night Guyana Inc. hosted its international competition at the National Cultural Centre on Sunday evening.

The Surinamese Sedro outclassed the competition clearly by producing a muscle flexing performance that awed both the crowd and judges alike.
His properly defined exterior and obvious intensity ensured that he walked away with two championship titles, a purse of $200,000 and the respect of the audience in attendance, leaving the 2014 champion Godfrey Stoby in second.
Stoby had earlier taken the 176-pound trophy while third place belong to the Under-165 pound ruler, Marlon Bennett.
Other winners included Alfred Jordan (Under-165 pound) and Zalim Bacchus (Under-143 pounds).
In the Men’s Physique decision, the decision was a close one as the contestants dug deep to bring out every last fibre of muscle.
Suriname, who won the 2014 championship managed to successfully defend his title ahead of the local duo of Emmerson Campbell and Yannick Grimes.
The Surinamese displayed the right amount of symmetry and proportions to get the nod from the judging party.
On the ladies’ end of things in the Ms. Bikini segment, Galimo Militia caused a stir when she beat off the crowd favourite Kavita Ganpat to take that title.
Milita, oozing beauty and toned poses took the top spot ahead of Ganpat and Surinamese Joelle Issa in the category which featured a number of entrants
Alisha Fortune however, was the dominant force in the Ms. Best Legs Category.
She surpassed Militia and Suelle Shepherd to take that title after carefully flaunting her poses in front of the judging panel.
Meanwhile, the night’s sponsors included Fitness Express, Southland International Inc, Copa Airlines, Colour’s Boutique, IPA Pharmacy, Gizmos and Gadgets among others.
