E-Governance advisor for Microsoft training in the U.S.

E-GOVERNANCE Advisor Floyd Levi will soon be travelling to Fort Lauderdale in Miami, USA to participate in a Microsoft training programme.

Minister of State, Joseph Harmon told reporters yesterday that the training is aimed at highlighting the benefits of “cloud computing”.
The training programme is in keeping with Government’s commitment to deliver information communication technology (ICT) services to all public agencies across the country, and will demonstrate how cloud computing can transform the workplace.

“The programme is fully sponsored by Microsoft, and we are of the view that it is very important for the development of that Unit (E-Governance),” Harmon added.
