THE police on Sunday arrested a man who was carrying a quantity of cocaine and marijuana in Cuyuni, Region 7 (Cuyuni/Mazaruni). In a statement,the police said that around 10:00 hrs on Sunday ranks on patrol stopped and searched a man at Devil Hole, Cuyuni River, in whose possession was found 2,013 grammes of cannabis and 129 grammes of suspected cocaine in a haversack. He is in police custody assisting with the investigation.
