TEAM Xtreme yesterday received another boost from corporate Guyana when Royal Castle, the 24-year-old fast food outlet came on board as one of their major sponsors, ahead of the November 15 Caribbean Motor Racing Championship (CMRC). Set for the South Dakota Circuit, the region’s top cars and their drivers, along with the ‘superbikes’, will converge on the country’s lone racing track, to see who will be crowned Caribbean Champion.
The franchise’s General Manager Tribhowan Brasse, at a simple presentation held at their Sheriff Street location, said that their support comes with a good working relationship with driver Gavin Gayadin who will be behind the wheels of his ever-dependable BMW E36i.
According to Brasse, the company also sees the November meet as a great way to promote their business and sports in Guyana.
It’s not the first time Royal Castle will be supporting motor racing in Guyana, but as Brasse pointed out they have not done so in recent times.
With six outlets in Guyana, Royal Castle stands as one of the country’s most popular fast food chains.
Gayadin, one of Guyana and the Caribbean’s best drivers, is making a comeback after a short break from the track and Team Xtreme’s Manager David Bacchus expressed his delight at having Royal Castle on board.
Apart from Royal Castle, Auto Stop, Star Car Auto Sales and Singh’s Roti Shop are some of the other entities to have pledged support to Team Xtreme.
