Granger meets differently-abled persons

President David Granger met with a group of differently-abled persons today at the Ministry of the Presidency, his office said. “We have encountered some problems with some higher officials, although we paved the way for cooperation and understanding so that is why we decided to come to meet the His Excellency,” the leader of the group, Mr Omar Cooper said.
The group, which has a membership of approximately 70 persons, receives assistance from the Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG), Food for the Poor Guyana and benevolent members of the Muslim community, the President’s office reported.
