A VENDOR was on Thursday granted $20,000 bail by city Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court after he appeared before her charged with damaging a car window.Jermaine Nurse, 20, of Lot 148 ‘B’ Field Sophia, Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to the charge which read that on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Cornhill Street, Georgetown, he unlawfully and maliciously damaged one visor glass valued $14,000, property of the virtual complainant (VC),Deldon Hoyte.
Police Prosecutor Deniro Jones, did not provide the court with any facts, neither did he object to bail.
The unrepresented vendor was released on bail and the matter was adjourned to July 30 for statements.
