THE President of the Lusignan Golf Club David Mohamad, in a letter, has expressed congratulatory remarks to Guyana’s newly elected President, David Granger, on behalf of the club and also endorsed his vision for the Cooperative Republic.It reads:
“Congratulations to His Excellency, the President Mr David Arthur Granger, 8th President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.
Your Excellency, President David Arthur Granger, please accept, on behalf of the Executives of the Lusignan Golf Club sincere congratulations for being elected the President of our Cooperative Republic of Guyana.
The Executive notes with appreciation and gratitude the expansiveness of your vision for us being one people, one nation, with one destiny and salute you for the clear call for national unity and understanding.
Though only a department of sport, golfing attracts many persons of influence on an international scale and so in our own small way we endeavour to always portray this national harmony.
We are pleased and look forward to continue our support of this vision which you have clearly defined for the benefit of all Guyanese.
May God grant you the wisdom, strength, health and national support to enable you to accomplish the things you have expressed for all Guyana.”
