BRISBANE, Australia – West Indies leg-spinner Samuel Badree, the world’s No.1-ranked Twenty20 international bowler, will be hoping to get on the field next BBL season after signing another deal with the Brisbane Heat.Badree was set to play the first half of last summer’s BBL with the Heat, but was ruled out with a shoulder injury.
The Heat will be hoping for more success with the 34-year-old after they gambled with another overseas player last season, former England great Andrew Flintoff, but he failed to fire as Brisbane finished last on the table.
Badree is currently in Brisbane as part of a Cricket Australia camp for the top young spinners in the country.
