EIGHTEEN-year-old Edmando Adams, a mason of Lot 462 A, Third Field, Kaneville, Grove, East Bank Demerara, appeared Tuesday before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry charged with a break-and-enter offence.
Particulars of the charge allege that on April 9 at Kaneville, he broke and entered the dwelling place of Kerwin DeCunha with intent to commit a felony.
The prosecutor alleged that on the day in question, DeCunha secured his home and left to conduct business. On his return at about 21:10 hrs, he discovered a heavy breeze coming from his bedroom. Upon checking, he discovered six louvre panes missing from his window, and Adams sitting in a corner of the room.
The police were called in Adams was arrested and charged.
He was on Tuesday granted $100,000 bail after denying the offence, and is scheduled to make his next court appearance
before the Providence Magistrate yesterday.
