THE Kidney Foundation of Guyana, launched on March 10, 2011 with intention of being the organization advocating countrywide for prevention and early detection of kidney diseases, has indicated it is now able to set up office, and to appoint an administrator.The Foundation can now be found in the Guyenterprise Building at 234 Irving & Lance Gibbs Streets in Queenstown, Georgetown.

The Foundation has also been most fortunate in recruiting the services of Ms. Mitzy Campbell to help in carrying out its mandate and in interfacing with the public and the press. The Foundation, moreover, warmly welcomes on its Management Committee Dr. Areefa Alladin and Ms. Claudia Hinds, who are both employed at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation.
