THE police are investigating an incident that occurred around 23:00 hrs on Monday last at Belle Vue, West Bank Demerara, where Sunil Dindyal, 42, of De Willem, West Coast Demerara, was shot and injured to his left arm and buttocks by a licensed firearm holder.Investigations have revealed that Sunil Dindyal was seen removing a vibrating machine and a sanding machine from a workshop owned by the licensed firearm holder and was shot during the confrontation.

The vibrating machine and sanding machine were recovered.

Sunil Dindyal is now a patient under guard at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
