You can also message your friends and other contacts; share something on your wall, and place settings for your privacy and publicity of the things you will publish in Wafugee. You can also share pictures, a link, take a poll and see who viewed your profile. Businesses can use this portal to create a profile for promoting products and branding their names in a Guyanese setting.

A Wafugee Event:Create an Event in several categories, such as club parties, birthday party, nuptials, concerts and promotions, conference, launchings, movies, sports, games and competition, religious functions, the arts and many more. You are allowed to see events you are invited to, inform the host if you will be attending and see who will be attending. The Host is allowed to insert the event’s address by tagging in Google Map. The Host can also insert a photo; attach a link or even a file to his event. The host will also see and plan for the number of persons attending. This Functionality can also be used by institutions, organizations, churches, temples and mosques in reaching out to members and the general public by creating and posting their events. Businesses can launch a new product and create their pages to inform their Customers and the general public about developments in both their personal and product profiles. Customers can also follow businessesand receive alerts when something new is added to their pages.

A Wafugee Friend List: You can see your list of friends, incorporated as an independent functionality in Wafugee. You can see your Friend’s Profile information, activities on this site, postings on their wall as well as products, listings and other business activities they are engaged in as you will read below. You can see incoming and pending friend requests; send your friend a message, share a thought, photo or a link much like the other social sites. You can also manage your Facebook, twitter and LinkedIn accounts from this location.

1. Wafugee Classifieds.List items you have for sale in the marketplace, such as, vehicles, machinery, equipment and surplus construction items, to name a few. Your search experience is refined for more exact search by the use of several layers of filters. A general filter allows search by item category as in Machinery, Vehicles, Furniture, Mining, Agriculture, Services, etc. and you can upload an item in up to three categories simultaneously. Another by name of the item; another by keywords, such as latest on this market, most viewed, most liked, most discussed; another by time line, as in all time, this month, this week and today; and another by address, as in country, district and street. These filter layers allow Suppliers to hit target markets the first time every time, bringing their stuff on the first page of search results of Consumers that have unique tastes and preferences.You can also post several pictures of your listings, a short description, and a more detailed description including features, specification and price. Choose everyone to see your listing as your preferred setting. Say where this item is located, using our Google Map tagging feature. Viewers will easily see the Supplier who has created this Listing and can like, comment, and share this item by posting it on their wall, on a friend’s wall, invite and email friends, bookmark this item in other popular social sites, print this item as well as contact the seller right here in one convenient and seamless effort.

2. Wafugee Business Directory. Businesses can list in wafugee Business Directory by their names, logos, categories, websites, customer service emails, slogans, bios, addresses, phones, faxes and opening hours; tag your business address in Google Map by drag and drop the map marker to your address, allowing customers to physically see the business’s location in map and satellite views. You can create an album to highlight milestones of your business in pictures. You can also add documents; wafugee supports several file types including .avi .bmo .doc .fly .gif .jpg mov .mp3 .mp4 .mpeg .mpg .pdf .png .ppt .psd .rar .swf .txt .wav .xcl .zip. You can add products and services you supply to this account and Wafugee offers several features including add news, events, manage your followers, create an advertising campaign, manage your news, photos, documents, locations, events and products, create your Business Page to post and share with your Customers deals and promotions, upload pictures to promote your products and open a store in our “Store”module if you haven’t as yet. Organizations and Institutions can also use the wafugee business directory to reach out to their members and the public.

Consumers can search for businesses by categories, keywords, address, including country, city and within a certain distance range from your location by tagging your address in our Google Map Tool. Customers can follow a Business, share information about this Business by messaging, email to friends and contacts as well as bookmarks in several popular social sites, including Facebook, Myspace, Reddit, Google, Twitter, etc.

GT&T Telephone Directory is also here for your mobile convenience. You can type the name of the person or business you want to call and the corresponding land line number will be shown if they are listed.

3. Wafugee Store. Wafugee offers a store module captioned “Store” which allows you to list all the items you are carrying in your business for sale right here on Wafugee. Payments are managed through PayPal for safety and security of all parties. However, we wish to advise that our online shopping feature is not completed and has to be complemented by an Application we are currently developing to accommodate purchasing, consolidation and logistics for our Members who require this service to do so conveniently from their homes. Wafugee store for now can best be utilized for your advertising campaign as a very powerful marketing tool to reach your target market in real time, all the time, every time. Wafugee allows you to do the following from this portal: crate your Business Profile and “Add Products and Services” to wafugee store; list your Products and Services by Categories for easy search and find; display using several beautiful pictures of each of your Products and Services; place a “Detailed Description” of your Products, by name, manufacturer, size, colour, price, specification, country of origin and any other relevant information you wish to tell Consumers; “Tag your Products”. 4. Wafugee Employment Exchange.Wafugee has a comprehensive Employment Exchange in two modules listed as “Vacancy” and “CV”, boosting several features.
In the Vacancy Module Businesses, Government and other Employers can create and post a vacancy on wafugee. Click the vacancy tab on the task bar, type your job title, state the desired skills and experience required, describe the job, say if the applicant requires to know another language, state the qualifications required, state the location of the job, put a deadline for the application (and we gave you a calendar here) and set the publicity settings (in this case to Everyone). You can first save as a draft which will allow you to view before publishing and then you hit Publish. We incorporate an edit function in case you need to go back and make any changes or additions to your vacancy. When jobseekers open your vacancy they will see the following: The Vacancy published. They can share this with a friend or relative who is interested, share the link to their twitter followers and comment on their wall. If someone fits your requirements then he/she can apply to fill the position just here in Wafugee. The Applicant is allowed to state his/her name, upload a picture, provide an email, telephone number, and incorporate a resume by uploading a file from their computer, tablet or smart phone, or use their Wafugee or LinkedIn resumes. Hit your Apply Tab and that’s it! You have applied for this job in two minutes. The Employer who has posted this vacancy will receive all applications when he/she opens their “Wafugee account”. By opening a dropdown marked “Actions” in the vacancy tab you will receive and be able to process all the applications right here. You will see the date they were submitted, can set a status for this applicant; you can download this applicant’s resume or all applicants’ resumes, can view this applicant’s resume, and can reject, delete or pass this Applicant for an interview. You can now send the Applicant a message or email to attend an interview.

Resume:This module offers you the ability to publish your resume and adjust your settings in order to filter the persons/organizations that you would like to view your resume. Open the CV tab on the task bar and click “create resume” or you can “import your LinkedIn Resume”in thirty seconds. You are allowed to list your basic information including your name, date of birth, gender, marital status, address, telephone number, email, upload your picture, set your privacy setting to “Everyone” or to “Job Seeker Group” or to “only me” until you are ready to publish. Click the update tab and you will now enter “Summary”. In this feature you will state your Professional Headline, the Country and State you are authorized to work, location and current position. You will state your years of experience in the position, and a brief summary of the job you do. Hit update tab and move on to fill your “experience”, “education”, “skills” and “expertise”the same way. You can add more if you wish and continue to list your “certifications”, “languages”you are proficient in speaking, “publications” and any other relevant information. Click on the update tab and you are done. You can go to the view tab and view your resume. There is a resume completion counter that will indicate your completion percentage; it will now guide you to full completion if any information is omitted. You can now fill the omissions and go to “My Resume” on the left scroll bar hit publish.

5. Wafugee Realty. Go to our “News Feed” tab if you are not already there and open “wafugee Realty” on the extreme right of the page or type www.realty.wafugee.com in your browser address bar and hit enter. There are several interesting features for the Realtor as well as the intended property buyer. Use the many features of this Application and enjoy an experience never presented in the realty business in Guyana before wafugee.

The Future for Wafugee.We see significant potential in this project for big business. We are very excited about the development of simple productivity applications to integrate our daily routines to the marketing and consumption process in all industries. These Applications will serve as the nerve centres for aligning Suppliers to Target Markets in an interactive approach to the search for products and services, reaping inherent productivity spinoffs for both Businesses and their Customers. We have already started the development of some cool apps to be integrated into Wafugee. One such is our simple Task Management Application. This is designed to integrate your daily tasks to the things you will need to complete them. It spans from “around the home chores, jobs and routine” to larger “construction undertakings and projects”or to the matter-of-fact “anything you have to do”. It represents a simple hands-on approach to integrate Supplies to Market and can be explained as follows:
– List your Daily Tasks for tomorrow, or simply put “the things I have to do”;
– Assign Resource, i.e. what are the Products and Services I need to purchase for completing each of things I have to do;
– Schedule the time when I will execute each of the things I have to do;
– Search for Resource, i.e. the Products and Services I need to purchase to complete each of my tasks right here in wafugee store;
– Schedule the time I will purchase the Products and Services from Suppliers to complete each of my tasks;
– Procure, manage and consolidate products and services right here in wafugee for executing each of my tasks;

These Apps will create the space for aligning Businesses and their products to markets, allowing you to reach your target market like never before. We are working with Builders, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, home owners and Suppliers to develop a wafugee estimation template for building your new home. This will examine industry standards and specifications in the local settings and develop and embed equations for each line item in your quantity column to derive what amounts are needed. Wafugee will align Hardware Suppliers, Builders and Contractors, Plumbers, Electricians and other relevant Personnel and Services from wafugee store to provide you prices, specifications, and other queries to complete each of your line item to arrive at an estimate for your home construction project. You will now create your purchase orders in wafugee and post to your favourite wafugee store, pay right here in wafugee and we can consolidate and ship for you. We will custom build many apps for making relevance to this new social and business setting called “thewafugee way of life”.

Data Mining and Management:Wafugee will encourage data mining for business and personal consumption. We are putting together some thoughts on ways to obtain, incorporate and optimize data and are very encouraged by the amount of data available in public domain in all the sectors of our economy and the ease with which we can incorporate these in the functionalities of wafugee. We will be happy to also entertain policy makers, sectorial stakeholders, organizations and institutions on board for providing basic public services.
