Father of three takes life after domestic quarrel

A FATHER of three ended his life by suicide on the Essequibo Coast, just six days into the new year. According to reports, a 33-year-old man, Edward Junior Joseph of Golden Fleece, ended his life tragically by poison after a heated argument with his wife.

Reports said the man who was a carpenter and a citizen of England, drank a poisonous liquid (gramoxone) while in anger after a quarrel with his wife. He was found at the back of his house by his wife’s relatives after consuming the poison and rushed to the Suddie Hospital, where doctors tried to save his life. He died on Sunday.
Reports are that Joseph had been living in England, but after meeting his wife and falling in love with her, decided to live in Guyana at her village, Golden Fleece. They had three children and he worked as a carpenter.
