Wismar labourer remanded on ammunition charge

CITY magistrate Ann McLennan yesterday remanded a 21-year-old labourer of Wismar, Linden to prison on a possession of ammunition charge. Andre Walcott pleaded not guilty to the charge that said on August 7 at Wismar, Linden, he had in his possession 10 live rounds of .32 ammunition. Bail was refused and the matter will be called again on August 20.
However, Police Prosecutor Dinero Jones did not oppose bail for the defendant who has no prior or pending matter.
