REMEMBER the threats Nigel Hughes made with regard to ‘no confidence’ motion if the Government does not comply? Hughes said no foreign government can come in and remove the PPP/C from office, but the people can, and will.Like I’ve said before, take a look at what is going on in the streets of Guyana, where PPP/C supporters are bullied by some PNC supporters.
Take a serious look, and do a sting operation on who are the motorists that the police are pulling over for a bribe: The said police who usually vote for PNC on Elections Day.
Take a serious look at the judiciary, where many supporters who support the PNC are getting away with almost murder; practically on a daily basis.
Like I’ve said, PPP/C hired most of the PNC supporters, then there are some who infiltrated certain institutions in Guyana.
The PPP/C supporters are convinced that the police, the army, the judiciary, GECOM ARE ALL stacked against the PPP/C and their supporters, who have historically been the ones that suffer most at the hands of these people.
Finally, someone is getting justice! And the PPP/C is doing the right thing to fund this inquiry to the end.
Minister Ramsammy is right, and the Government should not be intimidated into cutting short the work of the Rodney COI, as is reported in yesterday’s edition of the Guyana Chronicle.
