A POLICE press release disclosed that 53-year-old George Moore of Waterloo Street, Georgetown reportedly lost control of the motor car he was driving along the access road at ‘C’ Field, Sophia at about 23:00hrs on Thursday, July 31, and drove overboard into a canal.

He was subsequently extricated from the vehicle and taken to the GPHC, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Investigations are in progress.
