THE SHOT BODY of Guyanese Quynton Ross, 32, a Queens, New York resident, was found hidden in garbage bags on Far Rockaway Beach’s 40th Street, between Edgemere Avenue and the boardwalk in Queens, New York, after he had reportedly ‘disappeared’ on Sunday shortly after 8am, when he was last seen, the cops have said.

The medical examiner ruled on Tuesday that Ross had died from a gunshot wound sustained to the torso, cops said.

His mother had pinged his phone that night, and had gone to the boardwalk to look for him. She didn’t find anything, but returned in the morning to discover a bag containing bloody clothes, the cops have said.

She called the cops at around 9.50 am, and they found a second garbage bag with a body inside at Beach 40th St. between Edgemere Ave. and the boardwalk.
