A JUDGE and a mixed jury at the Demerara Assizes yesterday heard about the chopping up of a couple in Charlestown in 2010.

Dead are Cedric Blackman and Chan-A-Koon of Howes and Russel Streets, Charlestown and William Lyte of Charlestown is accused of their murder.
Lyte is accused of murdering Cedric Blackman and Chan-A-Koon on 26th October, 2010.
He has pleaded not guilty and is being represented by lawyers Mrs. Bettina Glasford, Mr. Maxwell Mc Kay and Mr. Brenden Glasford. The hearing is continuing.
