SHADOW Finance Minister, Carl Greenidge’s refusal to attend meetings to which he was invited for the purpose of discussing the 2014 National Budget is startling evidence that Granger is presiding over chaos within the Party of which he is leader. 

Granger knows what he is dealing with in Carl Greenidge; Granger knows Carl Greenidge is not up to par when it comes to Math. Both Greenidge and Granger know they are severely lacking when it comes to Economics.
Why do you think America did not “install” PNC to rule and tower over all Guyanese again? The Americans know there is no member of the PNC, in or out of Guyana, who knows Economics, and the Americans and ‘Brits’ do not have the money these days to feed the PNC beast.
That US$2.1B debt PNC amassed during their illegal “reign of terror” is nothing compared to what the Americans and “Brits” would have to dish out to the money monster they created called the PNC.
Carl Greenidge does not want to sit down on the opposite side of the present Finance Minister, Dr Ashni Singh out of fear he would be exposed for his incapability to grasp the essence of the budget, much less make sensible suggestions for the economic growth of Guyana.
Carl Greenidge would be so exposed, not only to the Guyanese nation, but to the entire world, that he was one of the main architects of the PNC’s misrule that made some Guyanese eat out of the garbage heaps around Bourda Market, and that he was in charge, as finance minister, when Guyana was running neck-and-neck with Haiti as the poorest of the poor.
Carl Greenidge can be best described for what he really is: “Shadow” finance minister.
