– one accused granted $300,000 bail for raping child

ACTING Chief Justice, Mr. Ian Chang, S. C., on Fridays last, granted 14 persons $6,025,000 bail pending the hearing of their criminal cases.

Following are the Offences, the Offenders and the amount of bail granted to each offender.
* Possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking: Troy Ward – $250,000; Ejudah Hoyte – $350,000; Amintroyer Reece – $275,000; Andrew Orgista – $200,000.
* Causing death by Dangerous driving & Trafficking in Narcotics: Dujal Singh – $2, 200,000.
* Uttering forged document: Orin Breedy – $200,000.
* Unlawful wounding: Shivram Downer – $200,000.
* Unlawful and malicious wounding and attempted murder: Andel Forde – $315,000; Floyd Sadloo – $315,000.
* Perjury: Kevin Roach – $150,000.
* Causing death by dangerous driving: Oratte Bess – $350,000.
* Simple larceny: Oswald Weekes – $250,000.
* Rape of a child : Orvayne Welcome – $300,000.
* Trafficking in persons: Lorette Hyman – $300,000 .
