CABINET has approved the appointment of His Excellency Vankatachalam Mahalingam as the residential High Commissioner of India to Guyana.

It also approved the appointment of His Excellency Luis Eladio Perez Bonilla as the non-resident Ambassador of Colombia to Guyana, Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr. Roger Luncheon told reporters yesterday.
Ambassador Bonilla will be resident in Caracas, Venezuela.
