Second ODI abandoned

NAPIER, New Zealand, CMC – The second One Day International (ODI) between West Indies and New Zealand that was scheduled to be played last Saturday, has been abandoned due to a wet outfield.Persistent rain through the morning and early afternoon in Napier left a section of the field too wet for play and the umpires called off the match shortly after 5:00 p.m. local time, three hours after the scheduled start.
Both teams will meet in the third ODI in Queenstown on New Year’s Day (Tomorrow night Caribbean time), with the West Indies leading the five-match series one-nil.
