Man’s slaughter of wife & disappearance plunges Leguan in shock

NORMALLY, the Essequibo River island of Leguan is peaceful and quiet; but it was plunged into shock on Monday when a 24-year-old mother of three was reportedly murdered by her husband, referred to only as ‘Vicky’, a fisherman.Sunita ‘Dolly’ Lall’s husband reportedly slit her throat at their Endeavour, Leguan home at around 03:00 hrs on Monday, before disappearing into the proverbial thin air, and residents fear Vicky might have gone somewhere to commit suicide.
The couple had endured a troubled relationship, which was very tumultuous most of the time.
Sunita leaves to mourn three children aged between one and six years old. They were taken to their grandmother’s home after the gruesome incident.
