POLICE are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 10:30 hrs yesterday on the La Belle Alliance Public Road, Essequibo Coast, and which resulted in the death of motor cyclist, Navendra Narine, 36, of Sparta, Essequibo Coast.Investigations revealed that the motor cyclist was attempting to overtake a motor car that was in the process of turning into an access road when he collided with the motor car. He received injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Suddie Hospital.
The driver of the motor car is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
