ACTING on information received, police ranks searched a man at Vergenoegen, East Bank Essequibo at about 17:30 hrs on Thursday, December 12, and found in his possession a .25 Beretta semi-automatic pistol and six matching rounds.
The man is in police custody assisting with investigations.
