-second fire in two months
THE business entity Comfort Sleep was struck by fire yesterday, making it the second instance in two months with the first one destroying its storage bond in October.
Speaking with media operatives last evening, Paul Chrishna, the brother of the business owner said that he received a call at about 17:45 hrs yesterday while he was with friends.

The man said that he recently came into the country to transact some business while his brother also recently returned to Guyana with items to stock up the business after the first fire.
According to Chrishna, when he first got the call about the fire he was of the view that it was a prank and cautioned his caller that the joke was not one to be made given the last fire. However, he was quickly brought up to speed with the reality.
The tearful man said that the fire has taken everything and now his brother has nothing left.
According to him, for another fire to strike at the same place in less than two months is very strange and while he did not call names the man said the fire was not normal and stopped short of saying it was arson.
“In my opinion I am letting the Guyana Government and the Guyanese people know this is not natural. Mark my words. I am not calling names; no way this is natural”. The man was quoted as saying.
The operations of Comfort Sleep were set back as a result of the recent fire and with last night’s fire it is clear that all the Christmas Plans for the company are in shambles.
