THE man whose mutilated dead body was found wrapped in blue tarpaulin, on Thursday morning in Cane View Avenue, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown, is yet to be identified, Police said yesterday.
The corpse is still at Lyken Funeral Parlour, also in the city and Police said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
The unidentified man was discovered about 05:20 hrs on November 21, along the roadway at Cane View Avenue, bearing suspected marks of violence.
He is of African ethnic origin, appears to be in his late forties, of brown complexion, thin built, about five feet eight inches tall, with Rastafarian hairstyle and clad in a multi-coloured vest and a green camouflaged three-quarter pants.
Police said he may have been killed elsewhere and dumped at the location overnight.
