THE driver of a car escaped unscathed just after midday Wednesday when it turned turtle along Reliance Public road on Essequibo Coast.

Reports said, after the vehicle ended up in a nearby trench, residents rushed to the scene to help occupants who might have being trapped underneath but no one was seen.
It is believed that the lone driver was very young and, probably, was driving without licence.
However, police are investigating the accident.
