THE Guyana Boxing Association will this evening stage the National Open Boxing championship on the tarmac of the National Gymnasium. Fifteen fights are scheduled for today with the finals being held on Sunday as tomorrow is a rest day.
A number of Guyana’s most skillful fighters are expected to participate including Ron Smith, Eion Bancroft, Imran Khan, Bert Braithwaite, and Theresa London. GBA president, Steve Ninvalle, extended gratitude to BK International for supporting the championships.
