THE charge against housewife Carlisa Matthews (no address given) was dismissed yesterday, when her common-law husband declined to testify. She had pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Judy Latchman, denying that, on Saturday, October 26, in Croal Street, Georgetown, she unlawfully inflicted grievous bodily harm on Jermaine Maynard.
Attorney-at-law, Mr. Paul Fung-a-Fat, for the defendant, told the court that she and the virtual complainant have been together for 10 years.
