Wanted bulletin out for Junior Anthony Henry, aka ‘Oswald’ – in relation to Michael Hamilton’s murder

JUNIOR Anthony Henry, called ‘Oswald’, is wanted by the police for questioning in relation to the murder of Michael Hamilton, which occurred at Sparendaam Squatting Area, East Coast Demerara on October 7 last. Henry’s date of birth, according to particulars of the Wanted man issued by the Police Force, is October 15, 1991. He is of African ethnic origin, is said to be brown in complexion, 174 cm in height, and his last known address is listed as Lot 56 Third Street, Goedverwagting, East Coast Demerara.

Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Junior Anthony Henry, called ‘Oswald’, is asked to contact the Guyana Police Force on telephone numbers 225-6411; 226-6978; 229-2702; 229-2557; 911, or the nearest police station.
The Force assured that all information will be treated with strict confidence.
Police reported that, at about 17:30 hrs on October 7, 2013, Michael Hamilton, 22, of Lot 128 Sparendaam Housing Scheme, East Coast Demerara was shot and killed by the suspect, Junior Anthony Henry, called ‘Oswald’.
Investigations revealed that Hamilton’s sister was at home when she heard an explosion, looked outside, and saw Hamilton running after Henry with blood streaming down his left leg. As Hamilton got closer, Henry turned around and shot him to his chest, and made good his escape.
Michael Hamilton was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The men reportedly had an ongoing feud over a female who is said to be the girlfriend of Henry. Hamilton had previously been shot and injured by the same suspect.
