Annandale man still missing

DESPITE searches launched by the father of an Annandale man who has been missing and who is mentally challenged, there has been no success as yet.
Nafraz ‘Nafo’ Ally went missing since September 8, 2013 after scaling the rear fence of his home while his parents were out and he is believed to be just roaming about.
The worried father, Sheer Ally, called ‘Gawu’ of Lot 12 Courbane Park, Annandale, East Coast of Demerara, told this publication that on Wednesday he went in search of his son after he was informed that he was seen in Industry, also on the East Coast of Demerara,

but he came up empty handed.
The man added that he even went to Liliendaal and Industry after it was reported that the bodies of two men were found but it was not his loved one and he also went to the mortuary in an effort to identify the body of a man who was the victim of a hit-and-run accident.
Ally said that he is searching for his son and is pleading with members of the public to assist him. If his son is seen persons are kindly asked to telephone Ally on 220-9808 or 600-3640.
The elder Ally explained that his son is mentally challenged since he was nine months old when he had an overdose of medication and now his mental state is equivalent to that of a child. The father fears that his son may be unfairly treated wherever he is.
Ally stated that he feels that his son is being harboured by person(s) who have him labouring for free since he is naive and his mental faculty is not in order.
Ally said also that a year ago his son left home and was located after two weeks when he was found working in an East Coast of Demerara village.
Since the man went missing the family only received one report from a bus conductor who said that he was seen at the East Coast of Demerara bus park where he tried to persuade him to return home but ‘Nafo’ quickly left.
Meanwhile, a missing person report has been filed with the police at Vigilance Police Station.
