THE battered remains of Yadram Jaggai also known as ‘Muffy’, 36, were discovered in the bottom flat of a two-storey house in Number 48 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, yesterday.
The discovery was made by his landlord after he had been missing for two days.
Jaggai was pronounced dead on arrival at Skeldon Hospital, Corentyne, with visible injuries on his head, arms and abdomen.
The deceased, who separated from his reputed wife one year ago, was living alone at the time of his demise.
The well-known minibus conductor leaves to mourn his father, three children and two sisters.
He was last seen alive on Thursday and the police have launched an investigation into the circumstances leading up to his death.
A post-mortem is to be performed on his corpse shortly
