POLICE are investigating another murder in the mining district of Arimu, along the Cuyuni River.

Ranks have been dispatched to the area to conduct a probe into a report that the body of a man of Amerindian descent was found outside a shop, with a wound, about 07:30 hrs on September 11.
The victim had, allegedly, been involved in an argument with another man earlier in the evening.
No other information about the circumstances is available at this time, police said.
Meanwhile, in a different incident, diligent police investigations led to the arrest of a man and the recovery of a quantity of gold jewellery and $40,000 which were stolen from the home of Balkaran Singh, 25, of Hampton Court, Essequibo Coast.
The house had been broken and entered about 12:00 hrs on September 11, police said.
