MELON Viveros, 19, a joiner of Spring Garden on the Essequibo Coast, died early Wednesday morning when he was run over by a canter truck.

According to reports, he was returning home at around 03:00hrs from his uncle’s wedding house when he was killed. Mother of the dead man, Ms.Nandanie Persaud,  said that her son enjoyed himself at the wedding house where he entertained guests as the DJ.
The driver of the truck is in police custody assisting with investigations. Melon has left his mother, four siblings and many relatives and friends to mourn for him.
