Post-mortem on Ryan Persaud reveals internal organs massively destroyed by stray bullet –strange object found in body

A POST-MORTEM was yesterday performed on the body of 14-year-old Ryan Persaud, killed outside his parents’ home on Monday, by a stray bullet, the origin of which the police are yet to determine.

altA relative who spoke with this newspaper yesterday said Ryan’s inside was massively destroyed, and there was severe haemorrhaging. She tearfully declared, “They said everything inside he damage up – he heart, lungs, everything.”
The woman said the bullet was not lodged in Ryan’s body, but the pathologist found a strange-looking object which the police said they will take away for testing.
Ryan’s funeral has been fixed for Saturday, September 7, but relatives are at their wits’ end at this time, hoping that everything works out as planned, especially since they were caught unawares, and had not been planning for a funeral at this time.
Getting their four children adequately prepared for the start of the new school term, beginning on Monday, was difficult for the family. For this reason, Ryan was not at school on that fateful day, and was waiting for time.
By extension, it is also expected to be difficult for things to be put in place within ‘a few short days’ to enable his final transitioning, a relative said.
Meanwhile, relatives said the police have not returned to Vive-La-Force to try to recover any spent shells. The family also said they understand that persons held for questioning in relation to the shooting have since been released.
