FOUR men were last evening injured in a truck accident at Toroparu, Region Seven following a truck accident. The men, it was reported, were making their way into the interior when the accident occurred.
Up to press time last night, this publication was unable to get the details of what caused the accident.
This newspaper was, however, reliably informed that one of the occupants received a broken leg while another passenger on the truck received injuries to the head. There were also reports that the other two persons received injuries to neck and back respectively.
Last evening efforts to get the names of the injured persons were futile since details were still sketchy.
At approximately 21:20 hrs last evening, an aircraft attached to the Roraima Airways Group took off from the Ogle International Airport to effect a medivac exercise. They were expected to arrive at Ogle sometime around 23.30 hrs with the injured.
