GEORGE Khan, a 36-year-old mason of Lot 73 Second Street, Alexander Village, Georgetown, who before Georgetown Magistrate Fabayo Azore pleaded not guilty to an attempt to break and enter, was remanded to prison yesterday.
Particulars of his offence state that on Thursday, August 22, at Kitty, Georgetown, he attempted to break and enter the dwelling house of Ravindra Pereira with intention to steal.
Police Sergeant Ramsahoye Rambajue, prosecuting, did not object to bail, which was granted in the sum of $75,000.
The matter stands adjourned until September 9.
