JASON Hollingsworth, a mason of Lot W34 Bent Street, Georgetown, was remanded to prison yesterday when he appeared before Magistrate Ann McLennan to answer a robbery charge.
After the Administration of Justice Act (AJA) was applied, the accused pleaded not guilty to the offence that said on Sunday, August 11, at Norton and Haley Street, Wortmanville, he robbed Leon Robertson of one Blackberry torch, one gold chain and $24,000 in cash, a total value of $204,000.
In addition, he also denied that at the time of robbery he made use of personal violence against the same virtual complainant (VC).
Bail was refused, and the case was put off for September 13.
