RANKS of the Police Narcotics Branch intercepted 15 kilogrammes 55 grammes of cocaine at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) on Monday.

The narcotics were found stuffed in ochroes among a shipment of vegetables that was in a cargo bond.
The drug was reportedly  unearthed around 15:00 hrs during a routine search of the cargo which was destined for the United States via the charter service, Amerijet.
Two men were arrested on Monday and are still in police custody assisting with the investigations.
