The drawing took place at Bounty Supermarket, Water Street, Georgetown, in which $800,000 in cash prizes were up for grabs in the promotion launched on June 8 and closed on July 31.
A total of 15 names were pulled from the rotisserie but 10 were first selected for the cash prizes of $10,000 each while five names were drawn for the game show cash board game to be held today at Bounty Supermarket.
The five grand prize winners are: Anil Dataram of Middle Street, West Coast Demerara; Leona Martin-Barrow of Glasgow, East Bank Berbice; Alicia Abrigo of D’urban Street, Lodge, Georgetown; Lidya Khalil of Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara; and Andrea Lily of South Cummingsburg, Georgetown.
In the ‘Quix Quick Cash’ board game the five winners have a chance to win from $20,000 to $100,000 in cash.
Customers had a chance to enter the promotion by placing two caps or labels of Quix dishwashing liquid with their name, address and telephone number in a sealed envelope in an entry box at all leading participating supermarkets and Courts stores countrywide.
Bryden and Fernandes Marketing Manager, Mark Kendall was on hand yesterday at the drawing and said that Quix comes in three variants and in two sizes and the promotion was a way of giving back to their customers.
Also present was Unilever Caribbean Limited Merchandising and Trade Execution Manager, Jackie De Roche, who thanked all the customers for their support and at the same time encouraged them to continue using the product.
