Sick juror causes temporary halt in South Ruimveldt murder case

JUSTICE James Bovell-Drakes was forced to adjourn the South Ruimveldt murder trial to Thursday July 11th  as one of his jurors had become suddenly ill and was hospitalised.

Before adjourning the trial the judge said that he had gotten a report from the hospital.
At the trial Shawn Smith is indicted for the  unlawful killing  of  Hector Fitzroy Marshall between January 18 and 19, 2009.
Miss Dhanika Singh from the DPP Chambers is prosecuting, while Mr. Peter Hugh is the defence counsel.
