SCARBOROUGH, Tobago (CMC) – Kyle Cabey missed out on a half-century but piloted Windward Islands to a comprehensive nine-wicket victory over Guyana in the West Indies Cricket Board Tobago House of Assembly Regional Under-17 Tournament which bowled off yesterday
Cabey was unbeaten on 49 as the Windwards coasted to 106 for one to successfully chase down a paltry 105 from 28.3 overs set by Guyana in one of three 50-over matches played.
The Dominican cricketer was named man-of-the-match.
For Guyana, Shimron Hetmyer top-scored with 40 while Brandon Prasad with 10 was the only other batsman to have attained double figures.
Daryl Cyrus bagged 4 for 15 and Brian Joseph supported with 3 for 27.
