BANWARIE Maniram, a labourer of Wakenaam, Essequibo River, was granted $50,000 bail last Wednesday when he appeared before Magistrate Sunil Scarce, charged with smoking cannabis sativa (marijuana). At Anna Regina Court, Police said the 23-year-old defendant committed the June 13 offence on the island.
Maniram will make his next Court appearance on June 26.
