THE Ministry of Education has successfully implemented three hotlines which will serve to provide a rapid response to concerns and by extension provide a direct line of communication between the ministry and the public. According to a press release yesterday from Public Relations Officer, Suelle Findlay-Williams, the three hotline numbers are: 223-7891, 623-4010 and 623-0550. The ministry has also assured that they will continue to interact with the public via social media.
These social media include Facebook at www.facebook.com/MinistryofEducation-Guyana; Twitter: @EducationGuyana, and the ministry also encourages members of the public to continue to send their e-mails to them at educationministrygy@gmail.com.
The release also stated that the ministry values the relationship with the Guyanese people whom they serve, and as such, they would like to ensure that they take every opportunity to address their concerns and take recommendations on how to improve the delivery of education.
