JASON Chilcott (no address given) appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman, yesterday, charged with unlawful assault.
Particulars of the offence said the 20-year-old Banks DIH sales representative, on Thursday June 6, in George Street, Werk-en-Rust, Georgetown, unlawfully assaulted Keon Yhap. Police Sergeant Simone Payne, prosecuting, told the Court that, during an argument, Chilcott became annoyed and cuffed the virtual complainant.
The defendant was granted $20,000 bail and the case was put off to June 26.
Meantime, an arrest warrant was issued for Yhap, who did not make an appearance in Court yesterday.
