MAGISTRATE Judy Latchman yesterday committed Kevin Ali (no address given) to stand trial for murder at the Demerara Assizes for the unlawful killing of Abdul Nassir Ghani on Phagwah Day, March 8, 2012.

The victim, a father of three, was fatally stabbed in Carmichael Street, Georgetown, after allegedly remonstrating with the accused about his behaviour towards some children.
