ACIC/SADR to observe Meraj-un-Nabi on June 2 – Muslim scholar to give feature address

THE Anna Catherina Islamic Complex will be the venue for the 17th Annual Al Isra Wal Meraj (Meraj-un-Nabi) Programme to be held on Sunday June 2, 2013 at 1:30PM.

According to a press release, an internationally-acclaimed Muslim scholar is expected for the programme and will deliver the feature address. The presence of this scholar is made possible through the Anjuman Sunnatul Jamaat Association Inc. (ASJA) of Trinidad and Tobago. The programme will also feature Quranic Exhortations, Qaseedas and messages.
Al Isra Wal Meraj is a very important event in the history of Islam and mankind and the programme continues to be held under the theme, “The Journey that changed History for Mankind” as was done since it was introduced in 1997.
The programme is being hosted in Guyana by the Anna Catherina Islamic Complex and Guyana United Sadr Islamic Anjuman.
Invitees from Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago are expected at the programme, the release added.
