THE Central Housing and Planning Authority of the Ministry of Housing and Water, wishes to inform residents of the La Parfaite Harmonie Housing Scheme that the enhancing and upgrading of roads is continually being included as components of yearly work programmes, as was the case for the past several years.
These upgrades account for approximately 6km of Asphaltic Concrete surfaced roads.
According to the CH&PA, the upgrading of roads and other infrastructure is normally done when the occupancy rate reaches approximately 75%.
The 2013 work programme caters for upgrading of roads in Parfaite Harmonie, Westminster,
Onderneeming, Recth–Door-Zee and Schoon-Ord Housing Schemes to Asphaltic Concrete
Surfaces, amounting to 12km, and construction of an Alternative Access Road (approximately 8 meters wide and 2.8km long), within the vicinity of Goed Fortuin, linking the West Bank Public Road to the La Parfaite Harmonie Housing Scheme.
Also, included in the 2013 work programme is new Infrastructural Development at Plantation Lust-en-Rust which is immediately west of Plantation Recth – Door – Zee, Phase I and II and will bring direct benefit to more than fifteen hundred (1,500) families.
